The next chapter in Hapkido is being organized as our three World Hapkido Leaders met in Tucson, Arizona. Presidents Kirk Koskella, Oh Se Lim and Dojunim Ji Han Jae

Three weeks ago, special senior students of SinMoo Hapkido came to Tucson, Arizona for a private celebration of Dojunim’s birthday. There were many discussions of the direction in which SinMoo should go. A week later, those honoring Dojunim’s attendance request for Conference meetings to formally establish association guidelines in fidelity to SinMoo’s origins; and, professional organization of uniform standards were undertaken.

Last evening, (10th November 2018) Oh Se Lim, President of the Korea Hapkido Federation, and newly appointed Representative President of all major Korean Hapkido Organizations came to Tucson to provide his insight on formulating the remainder of what will soon be revealed the Organizational Structure of ALL SinMoo members worldwide.

In this, Dojunim Ji Han Jae remains Chairman and Founder of all SinMoo chapters and the Korea Hapkido Federation. This includes Dae Han SinMoo Hapkido Association; SinMoo Sung Hwa Do; and, all other Kwans which have been handed down to date.

In May of 2019, Dojunim will head to Korea for a special Seminar with the heads of these organizations. We request that all SinMoo senior members and instructors ranked 6th Dan and higher plan to attend.

Our host will be President Oh Se Lim of the Korea Hapkido Federation. Attending instruction will include Kirk Koskella, President of SinMoo Sung Hwa Do and Dae Han SinMoo Sung Hwa Do and Larry Dorsey, President of World SinMoo Association and Bi Ho Kwan. All will present additional information and instruction at this working Seminar.

The next step in implementation and dissemination of information to all SinMoo members is being prepared and will be provided at a January event in Tucson, Arizona. We thank each of you for your input and look forward to your further assistance in implementing these professional standards for all membership levels.
