Project Description
Seowon University Black Belt Courses Overview
Basics are reviewed using higher level application, employed first on an individual basis, then in group training. Each aspect of technical performance is evaluated, maximizing strengths and minimizing weakness. When applicable techniques will be presented in basic Forms (Poomse/Hyung). One Step Sparring and Sparring Combination “Sets” are taught to reflect a more solid, crisp, and exacting combat ready application
The Soo Ryun (Apprentice Level) Black Belt Practitioner learns to demonstrate “full body control” whether shifting from stance to stance, or simply entering a room. The Seowon System’s Technical Chart will be used to identify each move and it’s application. This becomes vital as Sparring Combination Sets resemble motion picture choreography and bring to life the application of foundational techniques already possessed by the Black Belt Practitioner.
Many a Grand Master has up righted themselves in their seat when viewing the Seowon One-Step and Combination Set techniques, voicing a ten-fold improvement in all demonstration situations.
